23rd Midnight

A killer is staging a deadly revival in San Francisco. Someone obsessed with the crimes of Evan Burke is re-creating his murders one by one, and adding grisly flourishes of his own to make the work his.

Detective Lindsay Boxer was the one who sent Burke to prison. Her friend, reporter Cindy Thomas, later wrote the true-crime account of his case, and it became a bestseller. The imitator has taken that book as his blueprint, and the tie to the Women's Murder Club's past makes this case personal for them.

Lindsay is now chasing a suspect who keeps slipping away, while the danger to the whole Murder Club grows. 23rd Midnight is the twenty-third novel in James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series, which follows Lindsay and her close circle of friends in the city's justice system.
