A Cutting Deceit

Valeria wed Sirvan, a crime lord, hoping to leave poverty behind and gain a secure life. Now she lives under his code and must hide who she really is. Her hair salon is the only place where she can drop the act and be herself.

Everything shifts when Athena, an undercover police officer, is hired at the salon to collect evidence that Sirvan is guilty. A cautious friendship between the two women soon becomes a risky affair. As her feelings for Athena deepen, Valeria starts to question the choices and compromises that brought her to this life.

When Athena's real purpose comes to light, Valeria is badly hurt by the deception. With danger closing in, both women, still raw from betrayal, are drawn into a perilous contest in which honesty, deceit and desire are impossible to separate.
