A Lethal Legacy

Off the New York coast lies Douglas Island, a place with towering rock faces that discourage people from landing. Finn Douglas, who has inherited the sprawling manor that dominates the island, wants to transform it into a retreat where exhausted city workers can unwind. His hopes unravel when his business partner is discovered dead beneath the island's jagged bluffs, and Finn suspects the fall was no accident.

Finn turns to his cousin, Special Agent Craig Frasier, who takes the case. Craig travels to the island with psychologist Kieran Finnegan, and the two begin digging into the estate's past. They uncover local legends and a history stained with violence. Rumors of something malevolent moving through the tunnels beneath the rocky ground add to the unease. Someone appears willing to kill to keep a secret hidden on the island, and Craig and Kieran must navigate treacherous terrain to find the truth, where a single misstep could be fatal and a wrong turn could place them in the path of a murderer.
