A SCORE TO SETTLE

Ginger Barnes drops everything and heads to Norfolk, Virginia, when her cousin Michelle is admitted to the hospital in an effort to protect her pregnancy. Ginger wants to be useful in any way she can.

A player on the Tomcats, the local professional football team, has been killed, and Michelle is convinced her husband Doug will be blamed. He has good reason to worry. He and the other quarterback have been rivals since college, and Michelle is the only person who can vouch for where Doug was.

Ginger plans to stay on the sidelines, but she soon jumps in and takes on the high-profile case. She knows the game well and has solved mysteries before, and a child's future depends on getting the truth right.
