Acts

Dr. Doug Derbyshire has gathered his reflections on the book of Acts. He first wrote them for his children, and this collection is now offered to other readers who want to study the text alongside him.

His approach to Scripture is personal and contemplative. He describes starting his days in prayer and praise, then taking up God's word to memorize it, study it, and meditate on each line. These practices shape the reflections, which are written as a devotional companion to the text rather than a formal commentary.

The collection closes with a charge drawn from Acts 20:32, which entrusts the reader to God and to the message of his grace, a word able to build believers up and secure an inheritance among those who are set apart.
