Adeline, Getting Even

Adeline Morgan once measured her life by the substances she chased. Now she belongs to the Iron Ladies, a discreet circle of women who quietly assist others in the same way. Their clients are the wives of domineering husbands, the partners of unfaithful men, and the girlfriends of charming philanderers with double lives. Adeline takes pride in her work and finds real satisfaction in helping these women reclaim their lives. Yet each case hardens her view of men, convincing her that every one of them is capable of wrecking a heart. Her outlook is put to the test when she meets a man who is determined to change her mind. His aim is not to shatter her heart but to win it.
