Alien Agendas

This concluding installment of the Solar Warden military science fiction series comes from Ian Douglas, a writer whose work has reached the New York Times bestseller list. The Saurians, reptilian beings who survived the mass extinction 65 million years ago, are working from concealed installations to dominate Earth without drawing attention. Too few in number to conquer a planet they consider rightfully theirs, they spread conspiracy theories and fear among the population while trying to revive Nazi-style strongmen and proxies who could grant them total control.

Their opening move was blocked by the Talis, time travelers from a distant future, though those visitors can offer only limited help. The struggle has grown into a full-scale conflict across time that threatens modern humanity and the advanced society of the future with annihilation.

Commander Mark Hunter leads the Joint Space Strike Team, which must cooperate with Talis operatives, the U.S. Space Force, and a gifted young psychic working for the government to stop the Saurians' bid for global power. Hunter faces a personal crisis as well: his girlfriend, Jerry, has been abducted by the Men in Black, who are holding her as leverage over him. He has a single opportunity to locate and free her and the other captives before the Saurians bring the base down on him and his people. Hunter and his crew will need extraordinary luck, and even that may fall short.
