About this book
This volume gathers issues seven through twelve of the series. The action takes place at an off-world terraforming outpost, where a religious community from Appalachia has settled to reshape a distant world. An outbreak of Xenomorphs has now reached the colony.
Jane is a woman living with a rare, terminal illness, and her body is failing. Even so, she has devoted herself to keeping the settlement together and has no intention of stepping back. She must defend her congregation against creatures that rank among the deadliest predators imaginable.
As the threat spreads, secrets about the Spinners come to light and the once close-knit group begins to fall apart. The survivors search for a refuge the creatures have not yet overrun. It remains to be seen whether help will arrive in time, or whether the real purpose behind the isolated colony will end any hope they have left.
