Alpacas

Alpaca fleece is some of the softest, strongest material on Earth. It can be spun and woven into sweaters, hats, and more--and these are often quite pricey! In this adorable volume, readers find out more about the animal behind the sweater, rug, or alpacas. The main content includes the kinds of alpacas, their look, their relationship with humans, and also their relationships with each other as alpacas are a social, herd animal. Full-color photographs bring readers close to the animal and engage them with an animal they may encounter at a zoo or farm visit.
