Always a Catch #040

Maria is the youngest daughter of a duke, and everyone has always said she has great promise. She was brought up to inherit her family's duchy, until the arrival of a baby brother takes that future away from her. Suddenly without a role, she realizes she needs a husband, and fast.

The trouble is that every eligible man in her duchy is already spoken for. Facing the prospect of spinsterhood, Maria decides to study abroad in Rubini, where her distant relative Aida offers to help her search for a match.

Then fate throws her a curveball. The Crown Prince of Rubini announces that he is breaking off his engagement to her, even though the two have never met. Maria has no memory of ever being engaged, and she is left reeling. This light, cheerful romantic comedy follows her as she tries to make sense of a past she never knew she had.
