Always a Witch

Once a Witch left Tamsin Greene with a prophecy hanging over her. Her grandmother has foreseen a decision Tamsin will soon have to make, one with the power to damage her family for good. The warning keeps returning to her when she learns that Alistair Knight, her rival, has traveled back to Victorian New York with a plan to ruin her family. Determined to stop him, she follows him into the past.

Alone in the nineteenth century, Tamsin takes a position as a lady's maid inside the Knight household, where she must hide her true identity. She has to slip past the sharp eye of the matron, the formidable La Spider, while also turning away the unwanted attentions of Liam Knight. As the deadline closes in, the two families meet in a contest of magic, and Tamsin begins to grasp what her fateful choice truly involves.
