Astitva

Astitva: Ashes That Bloom is a poetry collection that follows the many lives of a woman, "her," through different eras and across memory. Its poems draw on mythology, history and the realities of today. The pieces move through endurance, quiet resistance, awakening and transformation. Each one gives new life to voices, some of which were heard in their time while others were never listened to. The collection travels from ancient echoes to modern reflections. Along the way it asks how identity is formed, put under pressure and gently taken back.
