Aurora's End

Squad 312 is a crew of misfits, troublemakers, and outcasts who have been given the job of saving the galaxy from an ancient evil. Co-written by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, this is the third and final book in the Aurora Cycle, so the story brings the series' long-running threads to a close.

The last book ended with the squad caught in a sprawling intergalactic war, with an ancient superweapon on course to destroy Earth. Their plans collapsed in spectacular fashion. This story suggests that an ending is not always final, and the team gets one more chance to change how things turn out, possibly two.

Zila, Fin, and Scarlett, along with MAGELLAN, try their hand at winning allies, provoking enemies, and leaving a mark on history. Tyler, Kal, and Auri, meanwhile, end up joining forces with two of the galaxy's most notorious villains, an alliance no one saw coming. Rescuing the galaxy itself is the hardest job of all, and it may demand luck well beyond anything the crew has.
