Avalon Tower

Nia is a bookseller who has saved for years for her dream vacation: champagne on a beach, with her favorite books for company. Instead she is kidnapped by Raphael, a muscular, tattooed and thoroughly irritating fey. Nia, it turns out, has a magic power. Raphael is set on revenge against an evil Fey king and believes her ability could help him, so he insists she train at Camelot's elite academy for spies. Nia is asthmatic and out of shape, and she is far out of her depth. Just surviving the experience would be a win. There is no slipping away while Raphael is watching her every move. He is dangerous and lethal, and she finds him very attractive. When the two are sent out on perilous missions together, he becomes even harder to resist. Getting close to him is like playing with fire, and Nia has to decide whether she is ready to be burned. The academy's rules are simple: spy on your enemies, resist temptation, and try not to die.
