Geno and his companions travel through the solar system that Earth calls home. Seismic activity is shaking the planet, and the group is scattered across the solar system. Geno is stationed at a base with his father, where things run smoothly until staff members start falling ill.

Earlier, Geno and his friends trained at the Planetary Defense for Geology and Geography, where they learned to operate the agency's computer systems and had plenty of fun doing it. Along the way, Geno learns more about his father's life.

As the threat grows, Geno has to take over his father's responsibilities, and he may be the one who keeps Earth from a catastrophe.
