The poems in this book record my thoughts and feeling during a time of limitless possibilities when signs and spirits inhabited every passing day. Moments of despair and moments of celebration that carried me beyond expectations. This record, by no means complete or final, rests on so many people, their kindness and their contempt. On this journey, discoveries of wonder, like white lilies wrapped in green paper in the back seat, are shared, along with an overcoat of yellow caterpillars.
