Bad Day

Woodland life goes badly wrong for a cast of animals in this picture book. Squirrel is left dangling after a hunt for a delicious nut ends in a mishap, Woodpecker has his beak stuck fast in a tree trunk, Snake has tied himself into a knot, and Turtle is flipped upside down. Fox, meanwhile, is doubled over with a stomach ache that he seems rather suspicious about.

These misfortunes are only the start, because little Mouse is facing the most troubling day of anyone. His friends can rescue him only by pulling together, and in helping him they also help one another.
