Bad Romance

Jezebel Bedeau is a high school junior who has a knack for landing in trouble. Her life takes a dangerous turn on October 21st, when a night that began as a school assignment ends in a deadly situation.

Jezebel, her boyfriend, and her three closest friends sign up for an extra credit project: tracking down the Malibu Beast. Things go wrong fast, and the group promises to keep quiet about what happened. That promise does not hold. Jezebel and one of her friends press on with the search and bring in Craig Edwards, the most popular boy at school. He turns out to be both a valuable ally and a source of new problems.

As the three work to uncover what has been terrorizing their town, they face startling revelations and the erosion of trust among them. Friendships and romances are strained, and the stakes now include their own lives.
