Baloo’s Big Win

Baloo loved cricket from the time he was a boy. He was also a gifted bowler, but he grew up in an age when the rules of the game were unfair. Because he came from a lower caste, he was kept off the team.

Baloo did not give up. He kept working at his game until he was finally picked to play. Even then, he was not allowed to mix freely with his teammates.

This picture of a Dalit sports icon's life asks a pointed question: does anyone really win when not everyone gets to play? It follows Baloo's fight against social injustice and wonders whether he could overcome the barriers in his way and change the game of cricket.
