Barcelona

Barcelona is a book of photographs of the Spanish city, a destination popular with tourists around the world. The city is known for the architecture of Antoni Gaudí and for its lively arts and cultural scene. The images here are part of the Mobile Pictures Series and pay tribute to analogue, instant, and mobile phone photography, while capturing glimpses of everyday life in Spain.

In part, the book documents Ronan Haughton's relationship with the places he has traveled to with his partner, who is from India. The narratives in this series of books do not always follow the order in which events happened. Some images are dreamlike, abstract, or magical, which unsettles any attempt at a linear story.
