Be Not Afraid

Trent Cain is a deadbeat who cannot catch a break. His life has been one disaster after another, the rent is always due, and he is always late. Even his band has cut him loose, which hurts most because playing guitar was the last joy he had. One night at 3AM he cuts through the park on his way home and runs straight into another disaster. Five angels are waiting for him. They tell him not to be afraid, but they mean him harm. His only hope is a sixth angel swinging a lead pipe on his behalf. There is something oddly familiar about this one, though.
