Beating the Odds

In May 2025, Andy Wheeler suffered a Widowmaker heart attack, a type most people do not survive. He lived, and within days he was in surgery for a triple bypass, followed by a recovery that tested him in every way. He opens by saying that statistically he should not be alive to write the book.

This is his personal account of that experience, covering the attack, the surgery, and what came after he left the hospital. He writes frankly about the recovery period at home and shares what he wishes he had known beforehand.
