Before His Time

The character Brian MacKay is built from several people the author has known over the years. He is a martial artist, a survivalist, and a student of military strategy. Yet he lives in a period when those abilities are no longer needed to get through ordinary days, which leaves him somewhat at odds with the world around him.

A sequel is currently in development.
