Beneath the Waves

Beneath the Waves is a mystery novella about Kira Hunter, a private investigator who has just moved back to her home village of Wayhill. Soon after she arrives, she finds a note on her bed, apparently left by a friend who died long ago.

At first Kira dismisses it as a prank by a local kid. The harassment gets more intimate, though, and old ghosts begin to unsettle her. Things get worse when she finds her next-door neighbor murdered, and it becomes clear that the danger is much closer to home than she imagined.

With time running short, Kira has to deal with a stubborn, conservative police department, a tragic past and her own wavering confidence. She must solve the mystery of her past and stop the killer before she or someone close to her pays the ultimate price.
