Beyond Breathless

Jamie McNamara is known on Wall Street as a hard-edged operator who rarely lets anyone get close. That is why she is startled by her own behavior when she gives in to an impulse with a charming investment broker in the back of a stretch Hummer, on the way to a meeting. The affair soon turns up as a post on the "Red Choo Diaries" sex blog, and Jamie begins to suspect that a casual fling may carry real consequences for the cool public image she has built. Andrew Brooks, a handsome man-about-town who is used to getting what he wants, recognizes a good thing when he meets her. Her ambition and fire have caught his attention, and he sets out to turn their chance encounter into a lasting partnership, prepared to bargain hard to get it.
