Bible

The Bible continues to be the best-selling book every year and has been translated into over 2000 modern languages that represent about 80% of the world’s population. Even with such popularity, the history of the Bible is obscure to the vast majority of its readers. For Christians the Bible is the written record of God’s revelation of his will. That is, it is divine in its origin. But it was placed in the hands of men who have collected, copied and translated it. From the scribes who devoted their lives to the copying of scripture to those, like William Tyndale, who sacrificed their lives to see that the common man could read the Bible in their own language, the Bible has been passed down and preserved for our use today. It is that story that will be told in this Bible study workbook.
