Birdcage

Three sisters who share a famous painter as their father are also bound by a buried memory from their youth. Kat, Flora and Lauren have each found their own way of keeping it at a distance, and over the years their bond has loosened as their adult lives have pulled them in very different directions. A summons to Rock Point, a cliffside house in Cornwall, brings them back to the place where they once posed for the painting that made their father's name, Girls with Birdcage.

Rock Point is an exposed, scenic property where the past lingers in every room, and the household avoids one subject above all others. Someone, however, has begun keeping watch over the house from the surrounding darkness, tracking the residents' every movement. This watcher remembers the girls who sat for the canvas, and remembers what happened afterward.

The sisters must uncover the truth if they are ever to free themselves from its hold, and in doing so they may find their way back to one another.
