Bitcoin Supercycle
About This Book
Michael Terpin, founder of BitAngels, argues that bitcoin has outperformed every other asset class, including gold, silver, real estate, and stocks. Its price climbed from a tenth of a cent in 2009 to a high above $70,000. In his view, widespread doubts about its reliability have kept most people from building significant wealth with it. The book lays out his "Four Seasons of Bitcoin" model, which holds that bitcoin's price moves in dependable cycles, much like those seen in real estate and stock markets. Terpin backs the idea with numbers, evidence, charts, and strategies that readers can use to take advantage of the cycles. The timing matters to his argument. A "Bitcoin Spring" was due to begin in April 2024, alongside the fourth halving, which cuts the supply of new bitcoin, and the arrival of crypto ETFs. Terpin suggests the seasons ahead could create a new class of millionaires and billionaires, on a scale comparable to the wealth produced by the internet bubble.
