Bitter Vows

Bitter Vows is the first book in the Crimson Falls Duet by Dani René, a dark and slightly twisted retelling of a very old fairy tale. The story begins with a signed contract and a binding agreement. The narrator considers the heroine his, and he never loses what belongs to him. But the girl he calls Little Red is not the sweet, submissive woman he expected. She is fire to his ice, and the two of them are bound to ignite together. His heart has been locked away for so long that he believes he can no longer feel anything. He tells himself she is far too innocent for him. Yet a single taste, a touch and a soft whimper are enough to wake the rabid wolf inside him. As the blurb warns, fairy tales do not always end happily. Readers should know that this is book one of two and ends on a cliffhanger. The second book is due shortly after the first.
