Blank Verse

Alex Huggins is a meek and timid young woman who loves to keep a journal. Life has been hard on her lately. A car accident recently killed her mother and left her father gravely injured, and with her spirit broken and her family torn apart, she turns to her childhood friend Sam for support.

Sam is lively and carefree, qualities Alex has often envied. But it soon becomes clear that even the happiest people can be hurting too.

Blank Verse follows Alex, Sam, and the people around them. It is a melancholy slice-of-life story about facing adversity, coping with tragedy, and doing your best to keep your head above water. It contains mature content and is not intended for younger readers.
