Blind Eye

Detective Chief Inspector Kelso Strang starts to suspect that something unusual is happening in Tarleton, a thriving fishing port. A young doctor is witnessed hurling herself from a clifftop, and a farmer from the area dies in a gruesome manner. Accusations of extortion then ripple through the local community, leaving its residents unsettled.

As the investigation proceeds, Strang becomes ensnared in a network of wrongdoing far more tangled than he expected. Absorbed in the case, he is wholly unprepared for the personal blow that becomes the worst tragedy of his career.
