Blind Trust

Lyla Fox has earned a name at the SNAP Agency as someone who acts first and thinks later. That impulsive streak becomes harder to ignore when a menacing letter arrives from a man she once helped send to prison. Determined to learn what he wants, Lyla charges ahead, but she soon realizes she needs backup from the person most skeptical of her judgment.

That person is Nicolás Garcia, an explosives and weapons expert who agrees to take on her protection. Her habit of taking risks alarms him, and the danger grows once her investigation into a conspiracy makes her a target. Nicolás knows that handling explosives is perilous, but he finds that working alongside Lyla may be the greater threat, to the mission and to his own heart.
