Bowerbird blues

Bowerbird is a collector, always looking, finding and keeping. He loves the color blue, in all its cobalt and vibrant brilliance, but something is still missing from his collection. In this picture book by Aura Parker, his search carries him over sea, sky and city. He swoops down to snatch bright treasures and add them to his bower, which becomes a mix of natural and man-made objects. The story is about longing and connection. In time, the bower draws in something more fulfilling than Bowerbird could have imagined.
