BOYS

Fifteen years ago, a comic series that almost nobody saw coming arrived and reshaped the medium. For its anniversary, Dynamite has put together an unusual look behind the scenes, with a selection of scripts written by series creator Garth Ennis. Each script appears alongside the artwork that brought it to the page, drawn by co-creator Darick Robertson, with additional pages by Russ Braun, Keith Burns and John McCrea.

The Boys is set in a world where costumed heroes are packaged and sold as celebrities by a powerful corporation. Against that backdrop, a small group of ordinary people wages a covert war against the super-powered figures who abuse their abilities. The series later became a live-action television adaptation on Amazon Prime Video.

This volume is aimed at longtime fans and curious newcomers alike, offering a view of how the story was built, from the written page to the finished panels.
