Breaking Free
About This Book
Noya walks away from her own wedding on the day itself, then does something nobody expects: she packs a bag and sets off to travel alone. Soon she notices that a man named Ranbir keeps turning up at the very places on her itinerary. Convinced he is either a stalker or someone her parents have sent to watch her, she tries hard to shake him off. Yet every time she runs into trouble on the road, he happens to be close by and ready to help. The truth comes out when the two meet at the opening of her NGO in Goa, and Noya finally sees that he means no harm. A friendship grows between them. Then she learns that Ranbir is about to be married, and that his fiancée is, by all accounts, a money-minded impostor whose real motives Noya wants to expose. Ranbir, meanwhile, finds himself drawn to Noya and admits how he feels, but she has her own plans for her life. When he invites her on a trek into the Himalayas, the trip becomes a question of whether the path ahead might lead the two of them to each other. Breaking Free is a light, warm story that mixes romance, loyalty and friendship.
