Brick's Addiction

Within the Ruthless Reapers motorcycle club, the narrator serves as vice president, backing King as he runs the group with intensity and loyalty. Club business has always come first for him, until he crosses paths with Rose, a woman a rival club is hunting. She is striking, bold and stubborn, and she brings a good deal of chaos with her. Even so, he takes it on himself to shield her, and he makes it clear that anyone who comes for her will have to get through him. In his mind, Rose is already his.

Meanwhile, his brother has fled town after robbing a dangerous motorcycle club, leaving the narrator and his young nephew exposed to the fallout. Help arrives in the form of Brick, a man who turns up at exactly the right moment. Brick has a reputation as trouble, and the narrator knows it.

He is convinced that getting involved with a biker is a mistake that leads nowhere good. Still, the more time he spends with Brick, the harder it becomes to deny what he is feeling.
