Broken Hero

Bray never asked to lead the Broken Peak Pack, yet he has been its Alpha since he was handed the role. He does not think of himself as a good man, though his wolf is steadier than he is. His days go toward one task: stopping a crowd of young, dominant males from tearing into each other. His wolf, however, has a different priority and wants a mate.

Then a woman strong enough to face his pack walks into his life, and his wolf recognizes her immediately as a match, and as the Alpha the pack needs beside him. The problem is that Vixen is not a wolf. She is a clever, alluring, fierce assassin who has little use for virtue and wants only one thing: to stay a step ahead of the crew sent to eliminate her.

When Bray rescues her, Vixen falls under his protection, and his Alpha instincts stir feelings she has kept tightly locked away. With her life in danger, fate and love meet the threat head on. The story asks whether Broken Peak can keep its leader, whether Bray can keep his mate, and whether his love will be enough to save her.
