Call Down the Hawk

Some people dream, and once they start they cannot switch it off, only steer it as best they can. Those they dream about are bound to the dreamer's sleep, and if the dreamer dies, they sleep without end. Others hunt dreamers, wanting to exploit their gifts, capture them, or destroy them before what they dream spills into the waking world.

Ronan Lynch is a dreamer who can drag objects, both wondrous and disastrous, out of his dreams and into his unstable everyday life. Jordan Hennessy is a thief whose job is to recover a dream object, and the nearer she gets, the more tightly it binds her to itself. Carmen Farooq-Lane is a hunter whose brother was a dreamer and a killer, so she knows firsthand what dreaming does to a person and what dreamers can do to others.

This is the first book in the Dreamers Trilogy, a sequel series to the Raven Boys books, and it is set in the same town of Henrietta, Virginia.
