Candela

Candela runs a cupcake shop in Silver Springs, though her reputation there has taken a beating. Her baking has gone wrong, with every batch coming out scorched. Her smoke alarms keep malfunctioning, and her husky, Jasper, growls at customers. Then a candle from her favorite Christmas set sets her display stand alight, forcing her to close the shop for the day. Hoping to unwind, she heads to the local skating rink, where things only get worse.

A mate spell hits her there and leaves her caught between three men, each interested in her. Shane is a firefighter who would rather set her alight than put her out. Jasper, it turns out, is a shifter who has been joining her in the shower, which she considers outrageous. Lance is a Fire Fae who says his brother Titus sent him to recover fire magic that never belonged to Candela, and that the magic is now spreading through Silver Springs.

Candela is a standalone RH paranormal comedy romance that mixes its romance with a mystery to solve. Titus, the Fire Fae brother from the Elemental Fae universe, makes a guest appearance. The book is part of the Silver Springs shared universe and can be read in any order.
