Candy Cane Contract

A careless remark about her dogs, made over coffee, leads to Victoria Barker being arrested on a charge of child abuse. The informant is Dr. Connor Kelley, a child psychiatrist, and now he is waiting to hear what his boss will decide about his own future.

To settle matters, Connor must spend two weeks training Victoria's pair of dogs, which she regards as her children, or face a lawsuit and the loss of his job just before Christmas. The question is whether he can survive that long with Victoria and her wild, almost fiendish animals, or whether he will risk his career and a lawsuit by walking away.
