Cedric's Tail

Cedric is a young boy who makes a birthday wish for a tail, and when the wish comes true he is thrilled. The new appendage seems wonderful at first: he can swing from the branches of trees, help his mother tidy the house in half the time, and even take on crime-fighting duties.

As Cedric gets used to his tail, he starts to discover that it is not quite the marvel he expected, and he begins to wonder whether he could ever go back to life as a boy without one. Written by Amani Uduman with Agnès Ernoult, this funny story explores both the delights and the annoyances that can come with an unexpected gift, and it is aimed at young readers who enjoy humor.
