Changes at Fairacre

Miss Clare, who once taught at the village school in Fairacre, has died, and her passing sits at the heart of this novel. Around it, the everyday lives of the village continue to unfold. Readers return to familiar faces here, including Mrs Pringle, the school cleaner, and her niece Minnie. The Partridges and the Willets also have their own storylines.
