Chase Me

Chase Me is a romantic comedy by Tessa Bailey, author of It Happened One Summer and Hook, Line, and Sinker. It opens a trilogy about three broke but attractive strangers who share an apartment in New York City.

Roxy Cumberland dropped out of college and moved to the city to become an actress, but her shrinking bank account is wrecking the plan. To earn quick money she takes a job performing singing telegrams. Her first customer looks every inch the cocky Manhattan trust-fund type, and her assignment is to sing an ode to his anatomy, sent by a woman he spent a recent night with. It is made worse by the giant pink bunny costume she has to wear.

Lawyer Louis McNally II has just celebrated winning his latest case and is nursing a pounding head when a singing rabbit appears at his door. He is intrigued by the sharp humor and appealing voice behind the mask, and after he sees her face and shares an unforgettable kiss against the doorjamb, he wants more.

Roxy has no use for a spoiled rich guy who has been handed everything. But Louis is more than he seems, and he is determined to prove it to her, even if that means chasing her across New York.
