Clair de Lune

Set in a small town, this novel follows characters whose dreams are tied to the place they call home, with romance at its center. Its mood is one of yearning, expectation, affection, and looking back on the past.

This is a newly discovered novel by Jetta Carleton. Her first published novel, The Moonflower Vine, has been her only other book in print, so this work will interest readers who knew that earlier novel. The writing is literary in style, and fans of Nancy Turner's These Is My Words, Alice McDermott's After This, and Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife may find it appealing.
