Clawed & Cornered

Raul Anderson is a rough-edged man who strolls into Sonja's bar, catches a dart thrown at his head mid-air, and Sonja is instantly smitten, the attraction hitting her with enough force to flatten a small town. Whether it grows into real love or stays pure desire is beside the point, because the spark has already been lit. Raul has a clear assignment: track down this woman, persuade her to change her nature, escort her to Hemlock Hollow, and by doing so rescue his sister. Her father taught her to cherish the traditions and folklore of their people, so Raul assumed the job would be simple. He pictured a half-Cherokee, half-Swedish heiress who had never wanted for anything and would leap at the chance to multiply her life span five times over. Instead he finds a dark-haired woman standing on her own behind the bar, working relentlessly to fund her medical degree, and his carefully laid plan starts to unravel.
