Cold Case Trail

Trey Jackson, a state trooper, has been reassigned to the cold case division for a short stretch, a move meant to keep him and his injured K-9 partner, Magnum, out of harm's way. That plan unravels when the pair stop a kidnapping in progress.

Now Trey must guard Justine Stark, a criminal profiler who holds him responsible for the death of her friend a decade ago. To set things right, he has to reopen that old murder and find the truth, all while keeping Justine safe long enough to reach some sense of resolution.
