Cold Threat

Twenty years ago, a series of murders shook Des Moines. The only clue left at each scene was a snowman ornament hanging from a tree on the victim's front lawn. A suspect went to prison and the killings stopped, or so everyone believed.

Now crimes with a similar method are occurring in a small Iowa town, and a local detective is convinced the killer is back and about to strike again. Private investigators River Ryland and Tony St. Clair have very little time before another life is lost. They team up with Tony's father to look for evidence that will expose an evil that has survived far too long. As the danger grows and the suspect draws closer, they will need everything they have to catch the killer before he catches one of them.
