Confluence

MBA grad student, loyal sister, obedient daughter: Rochelle is living up to her mother’s expectations. Then the Superflu pandemic sweeps over the entire world, killing nearly all of humanity. One by one, Rochelle’s closest family and friends fall victim to it. Rochelle waits for her turn. And waits. And waits. Gradually, she realizes she is one of the few survivors. All she has left is a historical landmark bar in the middle of the nation’s capital, and a few equally traumatized customers. How is she supposed to go on living, when everyone, everything, she knew is gone? Across the continent, Kevin is a modern day cowboy, driving his big rig across the open country. When the Superflu claims his own people, Kevin desperately searches for help. Who will save the world? Their quests will lead them to surprising, unexpected answers.
