Conversations and Versifications

Marvin Cohen's first book, The Self-Devoted Friend, appeared in 1967 as a gathering of short pieces. This volume opens with work drawn from a large box of his unpublished typescripts, written mostly during the 1970s and 1980s.

The rest of the book is made up of dialogues, monologues, sketches and verse. These were chosen from emails Cohen recently sent to a number of his friends.
