Corpse Clue

Donald Barr Chidsey was a prolific writer of pulp fiction. The Morton and McGarvey stories follow Sgt. Wentworth L. McGarvey, a tough Miami policeman, and his partner, Detective Morton. In the late 1930s the series stood out among the many serials printed in Detective Fiction Weekly, where it ran for more than thirty installments.

This is the first time these stories have appeared in book form. They are arranged in publication order and include the illustrations that originally accompanied them in the pulp magazines.

The volume, titled Corpse Clue, gathers the first five stories, which were first published in Dime Detective magazine.
